What we're looking for:

In this Account Executive role, you will be responsible for developing the Workplace, Networking and Cloud market in your defined account set. You will be an essential player within our sales organization by planning, building, enabling and accelerating the sales engine for our Citrix Solution set (Workplace, Networking, Cloud Services etc.).


Your primary responsibilities will Include

  • Acting as the key account representative to develop and drive a account strategy

  • Development of a strategic account planning process with your team

  • Handling forecast, pipeline, and plan for achieving quarterly/annual quota

  • Driving Citrix’s solution portfolio into leading Enterprise businesses

  • Providing regular communication with Sales and other teams to augment efforts and share support

  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position Citrix solutions better

What would we like you to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Ideally 10+ years of experience in direct sales

  • Previous experience in selling Software and/or Networking solutions

  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota

  • Hands-on experience in closing complex deals in Enterprise market

  • Travel as required

Qualifications

  • You are familiar with strategic account sales techniques/processes and have the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals

  • A real passion and understanding of the German Enterprise Market

  • Many years of experience in account planning and solution selling

  • Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy

  • Ability to educate, persuade, and influence others with a validated ability to recruit new partners
