Roles and Responsibilities:
Coach and train teams & managers on lean-agile principles & practices and related concepts using collaborative and engaging techniques, online and in person
Prepare any necessary training & workshop materials
Facilitate workshops, sessions, and retrospectives
Train others on improving their facilitation skills
Promote and be involved in the Citrix agile community by participating in and leading communities of practice, working groups, volunteering for internal talks, etc.
Mentor & coach current Scrum Masters so they can succeed in their role
Guide teams and management on instilling a continuous improvement mindset
Be able to articulate the “why” behind lean-agile principles and ways of working, as well as key shifts that must be made to succeed in a dynamic world
Share and pair up with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches on ideas, workshops, wins and challenges, so everyone learns from each other
Help people identify, visualize, and communicate impediments to success so issues are understood and addressed
Support and educate teams in implementing/improving Agile development and engineering approaches such as pairing, mobbing, TDD, etc.
Help foster and maintain an inclusive, trusting, and safe environment where diverse opinions are welcomed
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree is a plus.
Deep experience in an Information Technology environment
Probably have several years of experience with a variety of Agile frameworks
Several years in an enterprise setting coaching teams, Scrum Masters, and managers in a variety of situations
Experience facilitating events with geographically distributed teams and using a variety of techniques and collaboration tools
Hands on experience as a Scrum Master and/or PO, preferably both
Knowledge of key components of a high performing team and experienced in techniques to increase team cohesion, collaboration, and teamwork
A deep understanding of the difference between coaching, training, and mentoring
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and confidence to effectively facilitate large groups and present to large audiences.
Nice to have knowledge or experience of scaling techniques and patterns
Coaching certification from a recognized coaching organization a plus
Jira experience is helpful
