What we're looking for:

The Application Delivery & Security (AD&S) Sales Specialist is responsible for representing and positioning the Citrix AD&S Product portfolio in a broad range of defined Corporate, Enterprise as well as Territory Accounts in Switzerland. As a Sales Overlay and member of the Central European AD&S Sales Team, the role will work closely with the Swiss Citrix Team of Account Managers, Territory Managers, Sales Engineers & also with Citrix Partners. This is a direct touch, end customer focused role.

Position Summary

Citrix has experienced rapid growth in our Application Delivery & Security Division, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, aggressive individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our AD&S Sales team as a Application Delivery & Security Sales Specialist in Switzerland.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Application Delivery infrastructure market in your defined territory. You will be an essential element of our sales organization by planning, building, enabling and accelerating the sales engine for our Application Delivery & Security product set (Citrix ADC, Gateway, App Firewall, Secure Access, Cloud Networking & Cloud Security Services and Application Delivery Management).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the key regional Solution Representative to develop and drive sales pipeline, in close collaboration with the appointed Account Managers

  • Handling forecast, pipeline, and plan for achieving quarterly/annual quota

  • Driving Citrix’s Application Delivery & Security solutions into leading Commercial and Enterprise businesses

  • Providing regular communication with Sales and other teams to augment efforts and share support

  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position Citrix AD&S solutions better

Qualifications and Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • experience in direct touch sales & hands-on experience in closing complex deals

  • Previous experience in selling Networking, Application Delivery or Security solutions

  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota

  • Travel as required

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques/processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals

  • A real passion and understanding of the Application Delivery, Hybrid Cloud & SASE Market

  • Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy

  • Ability to educate, persuade, and influence others, ability to win new customers and recruit new partners
