What we're looking for:

You are a hard-working, energetic, and proactive Networking Sales Specialist, who will specialise in Application Delivery & Security (AD&S).

The AD&S Sales Specialist is responsible for representing and positioning the Citrix AD&S Product portfolio in a range of defined Accounts.

As a Sales Overlay and member of the Northern European AD&S Sales Team, the role will work closely with the UK Citrix Team of Account Managers, Territory Managers, Sales Engineers & also with Citrix Partners. This is a direct touch, end customer focused role.

Position overview:

Citrix has experienced rapid growth in our AD&S Division, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, aggressive individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to join our AD&S Sales team as an Application Delivery & Security Sales Specialist in the UK.

What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Application Delivery infrastructure market in your defined territory/Accounts. You will be an essential element of our sales organization by planning, building, enabling, and accelerating the sales engine for our Application Delivery & Security product set (Citrix ADC, Gateway, App Firewall, Secure Access, Cloud Networking & Cloud Security Services and Application Delivery Management).

Role responsibilities and requirements:

  • Acting as the key regional Solution Representative to develop and drive sales pipeline, in close collaboration with the appointed Account Managers
  • Handling forecast, pipeline, and plan for achieving quarterly/annual quota
  • Driving Citrix’s Application Delivery & Security solutions into leading Commercial and Enterprise businesses
  • Providing regular communication with Sales and other teams to augment efforts and share support
  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position Citrix AD&S solutions better
  • Experience in direct touch sales & hands-on experience in closing complex deals
  • Previous experience in selling Networking, Application Delivery or Security solutions – highly desirable
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Travel as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques/processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals
  • A real passion and understanding of the Application Delivery, Hybrid Cloud & Security Market
  • Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy
  • Ability to educate, persuade, and influence others, ability to win new customers and recruit new partners
