About the role

The Employee Communications Coordinator at Citrix is central to getting information to and from Citrites around the world. Day-to-day, alongside other members of the Employee Communications team, you’ll help ensure that employees everywhere understand the company’s strategy and culture, know how to get things done, and feel motivated to contribute because they’re excited about what Citrix is creating. You’ll lead the production efforts to distribute messages through our many digital—and a few analog—global communication channels. You’ll report to the Director of Employee Communications within the Marketing organization, and your customers will be your thousands of colleagues around the globe.

You like to turn a to-do list into a done list, knowing your tasks will support internal communications campaigns in nearly every part of the employee experience. You’re service- and detail-oriented, curious, and clever—someone who’s eager to be like an air traffic controller of communications. You know how to reliably and consistently manage recurring processes. You share our values of integrity, respect, curiosity, courage, and unity. You learn something new and have fun every day.


  • Support production and delivery across our communication channels, including our intranet, employees’ and managers’ newsletters, Yammer Communities, Global Employee Meetings, and other live and/or streamed events.
  • Collaborate with the employee and executive communications team members for content scheduling.
  • Manage and regularly update the editorial calendar.
  • Coordinate content across our global offices for digital signage.
  • Publish news stories and page updates to our SharePoint intranet.
  • Produce and format employee emails, newsletters, digital signage, and calendar invites for events.
  • Copy edit employee communications content before publication or distribution.
  • Assemble quarterly metrics reports for our key communication channels and campaigns.
  • Route incoming communication requests to the appropriate team member. 
  • Maintain distribution lists.
  • Make recommendations to improve our communications channels, processes, and content to better inform, connect, and inspire Citrites.

Basic qualifications

  • 2+ years in a detail-oriented, process-driven role and/or a degree in communications or journalism

Preferred qualifications

  • Extensive organizational and time management skills—must be able to multitask throughout the workday
  • Copy editing experience
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Empathy and effective listening skills
  • Not frightened by complexity or ambiguity
  • Ready to join a fun, valuable, distributed team
