Here's what we need you to do so we can take first place:

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a Development Team of 4 - 8 Software Engineers, part of Work Collaboration Solutions (WCS) organization. You will ensure that goals and objectives are clearly defined, and engineers participate in the product discovery phase.  As an integral member of our Engineering Leadership team, you will be working on some of our most exciting and challenging problems, all the while delighting customers and end users with simple, intuitive user experiences.

  • As a Technical Engineering Manager and as an agile product owner you will lead, and mentor Agile teams of Software Engineers.
  • Create meaningful technical vision for the team, own the backlog, and manage prioritization and trade-offs with business stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic and technical goals.
  • Drive the team to build scalable, cloud-native applications across the technical dimensions of reliability, resilience, security, and performance
  • Attract, hire, retain top talent, and provide career development and performance management to a team of Engineers
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, enthusiasm, and ownership.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor engineers to build high-performing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Position Overview:

You will work on a team directly impacting our mission by engineering Search and Custom Tagging solutions for the next evolution of the knowledge worker. The products in this area will accelerate productivity for our customers by building a unified search platform across our product suite that includes collaboration software, e-signatures, workflows, and spaces. You will bring innovation to this space with recommendations, intelligent search, and contextual search with custom meta tagging.

Prior Achievements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • 4 + years of experience managing or leading a team of software engineers.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software design, developing, deploying, and coding experience
  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within multiple functional areas.

Your superhero talents include:

  • Demonstrated success as an owner and leader in large, complex projects.
  • Experience building resilient organizations that can make the right decisions when you are not actively involved.
  • Solid design and coding skills with a bias for highly scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with scalable Cloud Platforms on either Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Prior experience working on C#, Java or similar.
