What we're looking for:

You are an effective people person with excellent communications skills and thrive in meeting face to face with clients and present them with solutions that make their business run better. You have 5+ years of field sales experience within a high-tech environment, ideally software sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology solutions. This is a remote based position with travel to customer locations or corporate meetings, as needed. This covers the Philly Metro area.

You have a track record of success in a consultative sales environment, with an expert knowledge of consultative sales tools and techniques. You have an uncanny ability to understand customer needs, overcoming client objections, assist with ROI analysis and closing the sale; You love prospecting new accounts in a defined geography using a variety of sales channels. You know how to motivate, train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within partners to increase revenues within assigned territory. You have a track record of exceeding your quota.

Summary:

As a Field Sales Manager, you will establish relationships and engage with businesses to identify opportunities and sell Citrix products and services. In this role, you would increase Citrix penetration within territory by using a leveraged model (e.g., inside sales, channel) to create opportunity for Citrix channel partners. Your success will include penetration of entire Citrix portfolio and leveraging channel partners along with various Citrix sales roles for lead generation and closing deals. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business, direct customer engagement, working with Citrix Solutions Network (CSN) partners to increase Citrix product knowledge and efficiencies, and whenever possible, using ISV (Independent Software Vendor) and Citrix Strategic Business Alliances (CBA) relationships to drive sales into end user accounts.
  • Handle both an indirect customer procurement and direct customer engagement model.
  • Demonstrate and increase CSN/CBA/SI (System Integrators) /ISV partners as the fulfillment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of the sale, from pricing negotiations to contract development to ensuring successful order fulfillment once the order has been received and processed by Citrix.
  • Lead weekly forecasts against revenue targets and works closely with inside sales counterpart(s) to lead the pipeline and set appropriate monthly and quarterly revenue expectations using Citrix-defined CRM and forecasting tools.
  • Partner with sales and service organizations and IT business executives within corporate environments

Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years territory sales experience within a high-tech environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • A track record of success in a consultative sales environment, with an expert knowledge of consultative sales tools and techniques. An ability to understand customer needs is key, as well as overcoming objections, ROI analysis and closing the sale
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales goals/quotas
  • Knowledge of Citrix products is an advantage
  • Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions
  • Ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within CSN partners to increase Citrix revenues within assigned territory
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • A strong work ethic, demeanor and follow through ability
  • Regional travel required (up to 50%)
