What we're looking for:

You as a Sr. Manager - Total Rewards Consulting role will be the delivery of Compensation initiatives for the Product and Engineering businesses as well as other business functions across India. This role will also lead/participate/deliver on benefit plan management for India, as well as have the opportunity to participate in global Compensation and/or Benefit projects.

Position Overview:

Team introduction: The Total Rewards Consultation (TRC) team is one of the three pillars of the broader Total Rewards (TR) team, working closely with Compensation Management & Benefits Operations/Management teams. The current TR team is based across the globe from Singapore to the USA, as well as in India and UK.

Primary Focus: The primary focus for this TRC role will be the delivery of Compensation initiatives for the Product and Engineering business areas.  The role will also lead/participate/deliver on benefit plan management for India as well as have the opportunity to participate in global Compensation and/or Benefit projects.

Role Responsibilities:

The Global Total Reward Consulting team's accountabilities include managing the relationship, driving and supporting the business and HR team(s) with reward consulting services in terms of adapting and implementing the Global Total Reward strategy to suit the Indian market.  Being the conduit between the business leaders/HR teams and the Compensation and Benefits colleagues for respective Compensation and Benefit programs and initiatives and in dealing with the opportunities, interpretation, and improvements of the Total Reward Strategy. Specifically, the TR Consulting team supports annual activities and events relating to the Total Reward Strategy including:

  • Cyclical Compensation/reward review processes
  • Compensation analysis and recommendations for business opportunities across Product and Engineering areas, working with the various stakeholders as required
  • Country benefit programs and policies e.g., renewals, enrolment, launches, communications, and promotions
  • Other Compensation/Benefit programs that support the business e.g., Equity, Global/Corporate programs, and policies
  • Integration/harmonization-related activities for Mergers and Acquisitions

In partnership and collaboration with the broader TR team, play a key role in driving changes, improvements and maintaining alignment of the Total Reward Strategy to:

  • Support delivery of business objectives
  • Be aligned to the market and be competitively positioned
  • Support opportunities with respect to compensation/benefits processes to improve efficiencies, utilization, and effectiveness
  • Remain cost-effective
  • Align to stakeholder and shareholder interests and values

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in Compensation and Benefit roles
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, ideally across India
  • Experience in large public multi-national company highly preferred
  • Experience and ability to manage external brokers and external supplier
  • Effective and efficient project management experience
  • Prior experience leading a Compensation/Benefits team
