What we're looking for:

About the role: 

The Lead Business Process Analyst will lead sales process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis, and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices.  

About you: 

You are a recognized subject matter expert in sales’ business processes and related systems.  You are a good team player, enjoy mentoring, are responsive and deadline oriented. 

 

As Lead Business Process Analyst you will: 

  • Use your understanding of processes, policies and systems to help design solutions to increase efficiencies and productivity and eliminate sales blockers.   

  • Manage large projects or processes and partner with technical teams (e.g., IT and Sales Systems), other operations teams (Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, Revenue Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, etc...) to identify, plan and drive improvements.   

  • Advise business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application. 

  • Interface with sales reps and their management, gathering feedback, providing guidance, and being empathetic to pain points.  Assess feedback to make data driven recommendations on priorities. 

  • Work to influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Ability to interact effectively with executives, functional groups and peers to gain commitment and cooperation from others 

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills; ability to lead internal meetings 

  • Business process improvement implementation skills: process data analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support 

  • Solid understanding of data quality issues and ability to recommend best practices for ensuring/validating data quality 

  • Experience with Salesforce, Conga/Apttus CPQ 

  • SaaS/tech industry experience preferred 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Broad knowledge of project management and sales operations experience 

  • Must have experience influencing business leaders and peers about the proper use of standard business process flows and system functionality 

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years of experience
