What we're looking for:

The Lead HRBP  will be responsible for executing the Human Capital (People) Strategy for the Citrix Japan team.

Position Summary

The role is required to business partner to all aspects of the organization in order to drive the strategic and operation plans for the team, whilst also measure/monitor the needs of employees through effectively building and developing relationships across all levels of the organization. The HRBP will utilize diagnostics to address and understand organizational dynamics to align with the business environment, implement and refine long and short term continuous improvement activities while managing the day to day tactical issues and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement HR strategies to align to the overall strategic plan for Japan and to respond to changing business needs

  • Understand the talent needs of the business & develop plans to identify, acquire and develop the next generation of leaders and to upskill the employees.

  • Utilize critical HR metrics to diagnose and address any long term challenges to the business and manage day to day issues

  • Make recommendations on investments of talent development, retention, great place to work, operational efficiencies, organization development etc

  • Partner with HR COE to implement specific plans/initiatives for the Japan business (eg, (expand) review, talent acquisition strategies, talent management etc)

  • Partner with HR team and management to formulate business plans, staffing & retention strategies/objectives and human resource guidelines for A/NZ business.

  • Play a key role with management to assist in organizational modeling and other change management initiatives (i.e. alignment of resources, business expansion, reductions-in-force, mergers and acquisitions and other workforce actions) according to the overall A/NZ strategic plan

  • Support the development of competency models and career/learning roadmaps for job families. Conduct competency and skill assessments

  • Provide management with ongoing consultation on performance management tools and solutions

  • Provide timely update on human resource trend, market intelligence.

  • Provide management and employee coaching for the resolution of employee issues, career counseling, etc.

  • Examine the organization’s performance requirements in light of its strategies and business objectives and support redesigning structures and/or strategic objectives accordingly

  • Identify potential compliance exposure and make appropriate resolution recommendations

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidates will need to have experience in partnering with business leaders to drive transformation, people strategies, etc. 

  • Desirable attributes include agility, proactiveness, meticulous,  ability to work independently with minimum supervision, possess a “Can Do” attitude & “Growth Mindset”

  • Tertiary education with good communication skills in both the local language and English

  • Experience in IT industry is preferred
