Assessing the potential application of Citrix products to meet customer’s business needs.
Displaying a leading grasp of Citrix domain, complementary technologies & competitive technologies and how to position for a “win” in sales processes.
Crafting and delivering the value proposition of Citrix products and solutions in person or virtual product demonstrations, and technical presentations at customer locations/Citrix facilities.
Developing customer requirements that map to Citrix solutions, overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerating technical evaluation component throughout the of sales cycle to close potential deals.
Building sophisticated, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations.
Showcasing product knowledge and providing technical Citrix Expertise to internal sales teams, CSA/SI partners and end users.
Displaying an understanding of development and scripting languages.
Being consultative with prospective users to determine product capability, assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
Working on issues that impact selling success through design or address future concepts, products or technologies.
Displaying a solid grasp of Enterprise & Government clients, and their compliance and regulations standards.
Harnessing your knowledge of mining and its supporting industries.
Seen as someone who can function as a sales representative as needed.
Networking and presenting at an executive level to multiple customers/prospects.
Owning and collaborating on initiatives impacting your sales team.
Building inclusive networks with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
Ability to involve CSA/CSBA/SI/ISV partners as the fulfilment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives.
Collaborating with others to positively influence sales opportunities beyond their own assigned accounts.
Sharing updates and thought leadership from assigned accounts and technical topics with sales engineering colleagues and management.
5 to 8 years pre-sales sales engineering experience in a high tech in direct sales environment OR consulting experience in customer environments.
Pre-sales or consulting experience in any of these technology areas: Windows application/desktop management; Application/desktop virtualization; Mobile device/application management; Web/SaaS Applications; Routers and Switches/ Core Networking; SD-WAN; Security (Web, Identity, Firewalls); Data Center (Storage Virtualization, Virtual Switching); Content and Collaboration
Ability to travel within assigned territory
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Citrix Certified Professional or Citrix Certified Expert certification
Certification and experience in architecting solutions on AWS and/or Azure
Hold a NV1/NV2 clearance
