What we're looking for:

You are a people manager with experience leading Renewals or Inside Sales teams! You will have expertise in leading successful teams to meet revenue targets and a focus on customer retention.

Position Overview

In this role you will lead all aspects of the Renewal and Sales Support team within Central Europe, providing direction and leadership to ensure all revenue and renewal rate targets are met. You will be tasked to drive customer retention, either through identifying up-sell and trade-up opportunities or through on time renewal of software and hardware maintenance and subscription contracts. You will collaborate closely with the Area sales leadership teams in order to align the go-to-market approach and customer engagement.

Responsibility

  • Leads the Renewals team for Central Europe (approx. team of 10)
  • Ensures timely and accurate renewals bookings forecasts for Area and regions
  • Maintains an intimate understanding of renewals booking potential, renewal rate and loss analysis.
  • Keeps track of the status of their Area’s top renewal opportunities. Ensures that they are progressing through the sales stages and transacted optimally through our systems
  • Coordinates the design and implementation of appropriate reports and metrics. Ensures senior management has transparency and input.
  • Represents the Renewals and Sales Support organization and works with regional field sales teams to grow and support our business and achieve or exceed revenue targets
  • Establishes and grows key relationships with Channel partners
  • Collaborates with regional sales leadership and HR on ensuring talent development initiatives are underway and management has the training and tools to conduct succession planning, individual growth plans which should be included in the mentor conversation process

Basic Requirements

  • Experience in leading renewals sales, inside sales/telesales teams is required
  • Past experience working in a SaaS sales environment with a Track record of attaining sales targets required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Good general leadership skills paired with a hands-on approach, High degree of motivation and integrity with sophisticated interpersonal, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage in a shared services model
  • Native level German and proficiency in English is required
