What we're looking for:

Position Overview

 

We're looking for you to join our Mobile QA Team, which is a small but high-level team responsible for the development Wrike application. We are developing mobile-specific features and support them from the web application on mobile and experiment with mobile-first experience which often makes a great impact on the whole product. 
 

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on QA automation engineer to develop tests on different levels of application, participate in framework, tools and infrastructure improvements. The QA automation engineer will take part in setting up, executing, and managing QA automation processes.

An ideal candidate is a self-driven and responsible person who is passionate about the quality of Mobile apps, enjoys finding and solving problems, and could propose and discuss ideas on anything that could be better.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will be a valuable part of a Scrum team of 8-10 people (developers, UX, QA, PO),

  • Develop new automated tests [Android (Espresso, Kotlin)],

  • Maintain and improve existing Android and iOS automated tests and underlying frameworks,

  • Find maintainable solutions to complex problems like push notifications emulating and interacting with third-party/system applications like Gmail or Chrome,

  • Work closely with developers, QAs, and other team members to create effective test sets that improve team performance,

  • Set up and optimise automation projects with Continuous Integration (TeamCity)

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Understanding of QA & QA automation practices and processes,

  • Experience with: Java or Kotlin, Espresso or UI Automator, XCTest / XCUITest and Swift,

  • Understand the specific of testing mobile applications,

  • Know the differences between testing mobile apps (android & iOS),

  • Know the android (understand the patterns of the operating system, know the basic tools for testing, understand the features of the android),

  • Upper-Intermediate English skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL knowledge,

  • Good understanding of mobile platforms ecosystem,

  • CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins),

  • experience with version control systems: Git, Gitlab,

  • Page object pattern, steps frameworks, Allure report,

  • Agile methodologies
