What we're looking for:

You are an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer (SE), with a minimum of 6 years of direct technical pre-sales engineer sales experience. You will be responsible for the technical relationships with customers and prospects, and you will identify and match technology opportunities with our customers’ business needs. In these pre-sales’ technical role, you will showcase Citrix Network product solutions. You will be leveraged as an industry and market expert to develop and present technical solutions and proposals and assist in closing complex technical Citrix Networking product solutions. This is a remote based position with travel to customer locations or corporate meetings, as needed.

Position Summary:

Provides technical support to sales reps and partners on customer deals across the sales cycle by leveraging strong technical knowledge of Citrix solutions. Drives development of technical offering to meet customer business needs under the guidance of product specialists and/or FSM/CAM account reps. Supports commercial accounts, working with Citrix resources and channel/Alliance partners to define offering and develop solutions, coordinated by Product Sales Specialist where present. Provides insight on technology trends, product developments, and technical capabilities, engaging with the customer to drive technical understanding of solution and value for business needs. Providing expertise in technical sales presentations to address issues/objections, conducting technical presentations and/or demonstrations. Enable partners’ Sales Engineers to define offerings, develop solutions and communicate with customers in Growth and Emerging markets.

Roles Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of the following technology: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft WVD, VDI technologies, Citrix DaaS, Citrix ADC, and workspace.
  • Extensive experience in a high tech, pre-sales environment with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex environments.
  • Ability to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy; ability to make a compelling case for Citrix products.
  • Solid architectural skills in Citrix products and technologies are required.
  • Capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
  • The following certifications are beneficial but not required: Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V) or Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V) certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years pre-sales experience in a high tech, with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
  • Must reside in the local area with ability to travel to customer accounts and attend corporate meetings as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Requires broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
  • CCA-N and CCP-N Certifications
  • The following certifications are beneficial but not required: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification, CCDP, Citrix Certified Associate – Networking (CCA-N), Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCP-N)
  • Pre-sales consulting experience is required in any of these technology areas: Virtualization Routers and Switches/ Core Networking, Load Balancers, Security (Web, Email, Content, Firewalls), Data Center (Storage Virtualization, Virtual Switching)
  • Ability to diffuse complicated technical and political situations with partners and customers.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with technical resources at all levels of a customer organization.
