What we're looking for:

Are you a technical specialist with knowledge of Application Delivery & Security (ADS) products? We'll help you to develop your experience by becoming a Networking Technologist within Citrix in a multifaceted role that includes remote services such as; demos, trials, calls, research, and proof of concept administration

You'll learn how to help customers transition into hybrid and multi-cloud environments as well as identify and match technology opportunities with the customers’ business issues and objectives.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  • Be the technical specialist and support the sales efforts for Citrix ADS in building solutions to meet customer’s business needs.

  • Drive the sales process in partnership with the Sales Engineering team.

  • Working with sales engineers to capture technical requirements from customers and aligning those to Citrix solutions, and managing both technical and competitive objections. 

  • You'll build and run complex, multi-product PoC solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.

  • Work multi-functionally with internal technical and sales resources, share standard methodologies, updates, offer and seek expertise as the need arises in various opportunities.

Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)

  • Ability to effectively present technology and business propositions to various types of partners, internal teams and management.

  • Ability to understand and explain many different technologies and to communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms.

  • Must be curious, adaptable and capable of quickly learning new products and services.

  • We'd like you to have a broad understanding of the following areas of focus:

    • Experience with network infrastructure and Security technologies, data center / cloud computing architectures, and how technology components interact at each layer of the OSI model.

    • Hands on experience with different products and technologies commonly seen in Enterprise network, including but not limited to load balancer, routers, switches, firewall, hypervisors, Windows, Linux, etc.

    • Experience in one or more public or private cloud vendors and toolsets (AWS, Azure or GCP)

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Experience in networking technologies in a high-tech environment with a proven track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.

  • Relevant Citrix Certified Professional (CCP) certification preferred along with other relevant industry certification would be a plus.

  • Good knowledge of English language (both written and verbal)

  • The ability to travel various UK & Ireland locations including Corporate headquarters.
