Are you a seasoned software engineer who knows how to apply engineering principles to large scale cloud systems? Have you had demonstrable experience managing or developing a multi-tenant SaaS systems and well versed in a large number of technologies welcoming new tools and techniques? Of course in conjunction with fellow developers, architects, and engineering leaders to come to the best possible solution. You are always looking for patterns and ways to increase efficiency, eliminate downtime, optimize costs, and maintain performance at scale. Position Overview

Citrix is rapidly developing and expanding its portfolio of large-scale cloud applications across all product lines, including app/desktop virtualization, networking, and content collaboration. These applications must deliver enterprise-grade performance, reliability, and integration while leveraging consumer internet economies of scale in multiple clouds (and in hybrid scenarios that reach behind the enterprise firewall). This requires excellent architecture and dev-ops process in software development, operations, and site reliability engineering.

Responsibilities for this position are for running the services comprising the workspace experience platform. Digital transformation requires businesses to provide a superior employee experience for higher productivity and stronger security policies for data loss prevention. Only Citrix Workspace offers a user-centric experience where everything you need to work is in one unified app, with conditional access and performance made simple based on user context and IT-designed policies. Citrix Workspace fully aggregates all apps and data across all applications—both on-premises and cloud—to deliver the right experience to the right user at the right time.

Responsibilities

· Enjoy leading a team to solving technically complex challenges

· Collaborate with peers to design and run highly scalable and resilient solutions

· Prefer to build automation to perform redundant tasks rather than manually handling toil

· Enjoy pushing scalability to the limit with high throughput services

· Design solutions with failure in mind to ensure reliability

· Enjoy working with a large variety of services and technologies

· Like looking through metrics and logs as if it were a treasure hunt

· Avoid logging into servers directly and prefer using automation and aggregation to manage them

· Strive to be a responsible enabler rather than a "gate"

· Have extensive industry experience with public cloud software, infrastructure and architecture

Qualifications

· Lead work with the development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud architecture

· Design automation using industry tools (like Jenkins, Ansible, Spinnaker, etc) to deploy hundreds of different services

· Ensure a high degree of availability across all of our service offerings

· Be proficient in one or more cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP

· Have experience writing applications using C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript

· Have experience with defining, recording, and monitoring SLO’s and SLI’s for services

· Identify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure

· Lead projects/technical initiatives and architectural/technical service improvements

· Have experience handling scaling challenges in infrastructure and code

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker

· Agile Software Development and SAFe.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Citrix and the country where you work.
