Principal Product Manager
Citrix is looking for a Principal Product Manager to be part of the Citrix Application Delivery & Security team (https://www.citrix.com/solutions/app-delivery-and-security/) . Citrix application delivery and security solutions are designed to ensure that business-critical applications perform well and remain secure. We have broad and deep capabilities in many aspects of the solution and this person will have ownership of product roadmap to deliver a Unified Management and Analytics experience for our customers, by utilizing the solution components. Aspects of the solution will include enriching and unlocking value from data via API’s, intent driven policies, automation, external integrations and visualization frameworks to name a few.
He/She will work closely with partner teams on requirements, engineers on execution, support Product Marketing on outbound activities, engage with customers and enable field teams to take our solution to the market. The ideal candidate will have an engineering or computer science background coupled with experience in cloud-based management services.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Develop the vision and product strategy for Unified Management and Analytics
Engage with internal product teams, partners and customers to understand needs
Collaborate with architects and engineers to define product requirements, prioritize and guide development.
Conduct market and customer research regarding product value, usage and integrate results directly into the product strategy.
Conduct competitive research to identify key areas of competitive differentiation.
Partner closely with product design teams to guide user-experience
Contribution to product collateral, blogs, white papers, and presentations.
Engage with customers and field teams to communicate product capabilities and roadmap.
Candidate Profile (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Experience with L4-7 networking, policy frameworks, visualization frameworks and APIs
Experience with AWS or Azure platforms
Defining and building SaaS based management products, and infrastructure at scale.
Outstanding organizational skills to coordinate various creative, technical, and administrative projects across the broader Citrix organization; Ability to work with and lead cross functional teams in a matrix organization without authority.
Strong customer empathy and interest in driving customer delight
Ability to dive into technical details with engineers and define requirements, prioritize product backlogs and define roadmap.
Demonstrated ability to document research findings, market analysis, and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated strong, structured and data-driven problem-solving skills that require solutions for cross-functional matters.
Experience presenting to wide ranging audiences, including internal stakeholders, Webinars, trainings, customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
Knowledge of Citrix products a plus
Required Education And Experience
At least 6 years in building/ working on Networking products & services - Especially on a Network management System .
Over 3 years of product management experience building SaaS based management services with focus on policy engines, APIs (REST, GraphQL etc), defining and building user experiences for managing complex infrastructure products.
An Engineering Degree(Preferably in Computer Science)
Experience with AWS or Azure platform.
Worked in an Agile development setting and can drive backlog grooming and prioritization
Experience with management of product launches and software release in large organizations
An MBA is a strong plus
