What we're looking for:

The Citrix Cloud Platform Services Group is passionate about delivering and enabling cloud solutions for our customers and partners. Every day we work to deliver innovative solutions that enable the various Citrix services teams to deliver transformative cloud technologies to our customers.  We’re currently looking for a Product Manager to join our product management team.

You have a strong technical background and some prior experience or interest in product management.  Our Product Managers demonstrate a desire to continue personal learning and career development while building collaborations with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. As a product manager, you'll bridge technical and business worlds, ensuring a focus and priority on existing customers and solutions while evaluating and placing product investment aligned to long-term strategy and success.  Product managers have a wide scope and responsibility ranging from portfolio planning and goal setting down to detailed project management, dependency tracking, and daily engagement in team functions and project execution.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive product, feature, and component level requirements definition for the Citrix Cloud Identity platform, including planning and design of new features and improvements.
  • Drive the SLA for uptime and performance, cloud adoption, and enable new capabilities for all the Citrix services that are built on top of the Citrix Cloud platform.
  • Drive core cloud platform innovations by keeping up to date with the technology trends, partnering with IaaS vendors like Microsoft, AWS, Google, etc.
  • Own the product process involved from conception to release for all major and minor feature drops, with emphasis on interactions with service delivery and internal product teams to develop the platform.
  • Guide the prioritization and planning with teams through understanding the overall product strategy as it applies to multiple product lines.
  • Operate as an effective product manager responsible for one or multiple areas of the product, including leading and communicating progress against project goals and fielding customer or internal partner concerns.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal partners throughout the company to determine goals and drive visibility and alignment on progress towards objectives.
  • Work directly with engineering leadership on an ongoing basis and serve as a key partner/approver in the review and approval process inherent to software development.
  • Propose, initiate and prioritize projects within the product group to progress business goals.  Assist in figuring out the best solution, provide data-driven validation, and measure the success of team objectives, including authoring outcome-based goals and critical metrics.
  • Collaborate with release leads, support, sales, and partners to communicate and evangelize delivered objectives and available features and fixes. 
  • Drive and own the platform product requirements process across multiple scrum teams while working collaboratively with key partners to prioritize and validate technology, features, product direction, and strategy; drive critical initiatives, using customer feedback and data to inform tactical and strategic decisions; drive cross-team analysis and sharing of data.
  • Drive and influence the adoption of product management standard methodologies throughout the product management and engineering teams.
  • Work with vendor partners in the identity space like Ping Identity, Okta, Veridium, etc. to foster joint go-to-market solutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in an agile and high pace production environment.
  • Strong experience in building cloud platforms from an engineering or product management perspective OR equivalent experience with deploying enterprise cloud platform solutions at scale.
  • A talent for managing highly technical products.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the product requirements definition and agile software development processes in the creation of software products.
  • Ability to develop well-conceived and carefully constructed requirements and application definitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence, and gain the cooperation necessary across the organization to successfully deliver to schedules/timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical background with a successful history of translating technical information into clear language.
  • Experience presenting to internal teams and leadership on a regular basis to promote the business plan and build awareness; ability to solicit and synthesize input from customers and internal partners.
  • Experience developing positive relationships and coordinating product management across product development, technical support, pre-sales, sales, service delivery, and partner organizations.Demonstrable experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customer and end-user empathy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to learn new processes and tools paired with excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated the ability effectively prioritize, communicate, forge trusts, and can establish strategic partnerships and relationships with various departments and business groups.
  • Highly motivated, have a strong need to achieve, a continuous learning mindset, and strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach.
  • Success defining and delivering delightful user experiences.
  • Experienced with B2B SaaS Products.
