What we're looking for:

Position Summary:

Principal Software engineer position in this group (ADC Base/Protocols – Networking & Cloud) study/design/code/test  new protocols or customer requirements. Also the engineer participates in customer calls and shares plan of action or understands an issue in depth. The engineer would lead a group of  junior engineers to deliver a specific task on time.  Quality consciousness and customer focus needs to be the second nature.

Requirements

· BS/MS in CS/EE or equivalent and Minimum of 12-15 years of proven design and development skills in complex applications and systems software in networking technologies
· Outstanding C/C ++ programming skills is a MUST, programming skills in Python/Go is desirable

- Experience in working on Unix type platforms is a MUST.  

· Experience in internals of TCP/IP is a MUST.
· Hands on experience with protocols like HTTP/1.x, HTTP/2, HTTP3 is a big plus

· Proficiency in Systems/Server software development, multi-threaded programming, networking concepts/fundamentals.
· Proficiency in Unix/Linux development platform, network and systems programming + debugging.
· Strong systems programming skills, with extensive experience developing kernel/OS and networking software

· Excellent debugging skills both at protocol level (sniffer traces, tcp-dump, etc) and systems level (with kernel debugger).

· Ability to pick up new technologies easily and quickly.
