What we're looking for:

If you are a sales hunter and can collaborate with a larger sales team for assigned accounts & territories as well as partners to drive business outcomes based on the Citrix’s Application Delivery and Security solutions, we would like to talk to you.

Position Summary

As owner of the Citrix Application Delivery and Security suite of products and solutions, you will be developing and managing medium to large sales opportunities within New South Wales, Australia. You will be teaming with Citrix account managers, presales, product, marketing, and partner ecosystem to meet the business and technology needs of customers. You will be leveraged as a product and market expert to develop and present sales proposals, solutions and assist in closing complex technical sales. The assigned territory will include large customers across verticals in the territory and select few midmarket/commercial customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader, developing and growing market share in the territory.  

  • Evangelize Citrix Application and Security products to drive new sales opportunities and grow existing opportunity value with end customers and partners.

  • Act as a sales hunter, identifying and closing new opportunities as well as being driving force behind Citrix account and territory teams to help close business to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Cultivating and encouraging relationships with large partner ecosystem that helps in over GTM strategy and success.

  • Track competitive forces and have effective strategy to win share.

  • Representing Citrix at various industry and partner forums as a presenter.

  • Conducting weekly forecast cadence against revenue targets and working closely with sales counterparts to manage the pipeline.

  • Building positive relationships with IT executives and other influencers within customers and prospects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Sophisticated knowledge of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis and closing the sale through appropriate procurement vehicles.

  • In-depth knowledge of Application Delivery, Hybrid cloud and Security solutions.

  • Have a strong understanding of the cloud and SaaS market transitions and an ability to articulate the relevance and value of Citrix’s technology.

  • Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions.

  • Understanding of local markets and strong customer/partner relationships.

  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 8-12 years prior territory sales experience in a high-tech environment in a direct sales and procurement environment with a record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.

  • The role is a Product Specialist sales role therefore having a background as a Sales Engineer and/or relevant technical history would be preferable.

  • Experience in working with large accounts and selling at higher levels of the organization.

  • Experience and ability to operate in a fast paced, results orientated global organization.

  • Strong work ethic, positive demeanour and follow through ability.
