What we're looking for:

As the Regional Employee Relations Manager (RERM) for the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence (COE) you will be a key contributor to the Global Employee Relations Community and actively participates in the other COEs.

You possess extensive Human Resources experience in multiple disciplines but with a keen focus on Employee Relations and Shared Services across EMEA. You also interact and influencing with senior management.

Position Overview

You partner with the Regional Employment Law group and closely collaborate on employment related matters. This position is responsible for investigating and resolving employee relations that are medium to complex complaints and conflicts in the workplace. The RERM will work in conjunction with our HR Business Partners (HRBP) and Managers to administer Performance and Corrective Action Processes, investigations and other HR and Compliance programs.  This role serves as an advisor to HR Business Partners, Citrix managers and senior management regarding policies and procedures related to the management of their team. As the RERM, you will participate in the development and management of select ER programs to drive consistency when possible and customisation as necessary.

Role Responsibilities

  • Advise and support HRBPs, managers and employees with resolution of employee behaviour and performance issues, career counselling and management coaching; conduct internal investigations into allegations of employee misconduct; support escalated leaves of absence; facilitate effective and compliant organisational restructurings; provide employee relations training and advice to internal business and HR stakeholders. Obtains all necessary approvals for terminations
  • Assist others in the prioritisation of employee-related issues and plans for on-going employee relations improvements
  • Evaluate, analyse and participate in addressing situations or data with employees, managers and stakeholders that require knowledge of company process, policies, and business needs
  • Facilitate on-going performance management process on complex cases
  • Manage complex ER cases to resolution independently and in collaboration with peers, ER management and legal counsel
  • Provide direction and mentorship to other HR team members in employee relations, ensure fair treatment of employees, review/ and recommend revisions to policies and programs
  • Regularly interact with HRBPs, management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions or geographies
  • Influence and gain buy-in from managers in sensitive situations, while building the relationship
  • Coach HR team and HRBP of geographically distributed employees
  • Manage and independently coordinate specific activities in large scale staffing initiatives and restructuring
  • Collaborate with ER and T&OD management on program development and facilitate training on Performance Management with the Learning department
  • Appropriately identify and coordinate cases with legal counsel, modifying case responses and/or ensuring stakeholders are advised of recommendations to achieve business objectives while minimising risk
  • Develop and manage specific programs within ER, workplace violence prevention program, compliance, corrective action
  • Records all ER cases in case management tool, and audits entries of other HR and ER staff for comprehensive reporting. Participates in upgrades and process improvements. Keeps HRBPs and ER team apprised of new functionality. Facilitates new hire training on case management tool
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary.

Basic Qualification

  • You should have extensive HR experience in multiple disciplines with a focus on ER related activities
  • You will typically have graduated from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources Management, or worked in a closely related field
  • You should have strong in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Professional designation or certification, i.e. CIPD
  • Multiple language skills preferred
