Lead the team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual team targets by generating sales pipeline, accelerating active opportunities and driving them to close - build and execute on the plan for ITES vertical which is the biggest vertical for Citrix India.
The incumbent will take ownership to build a growth oriented team culture and help teams falling short of the needed criteria to bring them back to the performance track.
The role entails building long term relationships with C Level executives in customers, partners and build the Citrix brand.
Contributes and delivers as a leadership principle and aligns to the culture of the team and values of the company.
They would be a talent magnet to attract and retain top talent into the company and play a role to support the organization in meeting its larger goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure sales organisation meets quarterly booking commitment goals by setting strategies and leading account managers in execution of the selling via Sales Teams through diligent lead follow-up, mining the installed customer base and prospecting.
Provide mentorship for sales account managers in matters of problem resolution, sales strategies, competitive analysis, and pricing, bids/RFPs/RFQs, and corporate policy interpretation.
Lead sales organization in following the sales methodology and best practices, as well as using CRM as a system of record in order to improve the Citrix opportunity.
Participate in the sales cycle as needed to collect requirements, formulate delivery approach, and develop a proposal/post-sale engagement plan.
Perform key functions to recruit outstanding and diverse sales reps and sales management including interviewing, hiring, monitoring, employee feedback and documentation, counselling and coaching, and performance management / improvement when needed. Identify staffing needs. Work with senior management to set budgets and implement plan.
Provides organizational leverage to get the right resources to the right opportunities even in the face of the most complicated challenges. Is able to align and leverage geo-wide resources from multiple functions, some of which may not report direct to them.
Effectively manage expenses across the sales organization.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with members across all levels of an organization, particularly executive partners.
Define account and opportunity planning processes and develop new initiatives to improve revenue and increase market potential and lead sales management in developing execution strategy.
Demonstrate strong product knowledge and ability to articulate our value proposition; ability to train sales managers to implement this within the sales organization.
Engage with strategic Channel Partners in the development and execution of the overall business plan.
