You oversee the renewal sales business and potentially other perpetual lines of business across perpetual renewals, subscription renewals, term renewals across one or multiple areas. You develop a team to sell a growing portfolio of support offerings to several different stakeholders. You have strong sales and negotiation skills.
Overview
The Manager, Renewal Sales is responsible for a team selling Citrix Subscription Services, including but not limited to SAAS renewals, term licensing renewals, expansion of existing service licenses, and other add-on support services to existing customer base. The Sr. Manager, Renewal Sales is responsible for a team that identifies prospects for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities while working with the customer and other stakeholders when adoption of service has not reached meaningful active use. This role is responsible for developing infrastructure on how to proactively research and identify customer health status well in advance to the customers renewal to ensure meaningful use is being adopted for a seamless renewal of contract.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
Acts as a coach and mentor for multiple groups/teams within Renewal Sales
Acts as the authority on Renewal Sales methodology and best practices, capable of tailoring methodology to client and communicating membership renewal value proposition
Manages monthly/quarterly forecast and quota
Manages large, complex or multiple projects, while meeting deadlines, producing high quality deliverables and creating high customer satisfaction
Assumes role of project manager and/or client manager when necessary
Promotes team environment by assisting with training and development of fellow employees to enhance skills and abilities in performance of their duties.
Creates best practices and processes to efficiently monitor, track and complete tasks that will positively impact customer responsiveness
Deals directly with customers to resolve outstanding or escalated issues
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
5+ years of experience Sales Experience
3+ years of renewals sales or telesales experience in specifically.
Undergraduate (4-year) degree required
MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred
Must have a working knowledge of the Subscription Advantage program, Citrix products, and processes that support the delivery of that product preferred
Must have a working knowledge of Salesforce.com and sales database management.
Advanced level of expertise using MS Excel, and MS Word.
Experience with CRMs, SAP, Citrix Subscription Advantage, software licensing programs. Salesforce experience preferred.
