Position summary:
As a Revenue Accountant, you will be a key member of the Corporate Revenue Operations team. You will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, as well as strong commitment to process improvement via automation. You will report to the Manager of Corporate Revenue Operations, routinely interacting with cross-functional and global teams in the organization.
Primary duties/responsibilities:
Analyze revenue transactions to evaluate data integrity and proper treatment of order transactions.
Collaborate with Accounting Systems and Supply Chain Management on issue analysis and resolution.
Perform manual activities required in RevPro to align with accounting conclusions
Prepare account reconciliations in conjunction with global month-end close activities, maintaining proper internal control documentation
Maintain process documentation for areas of responsibility
Identify areas for process improvement and develop automated workflows to increase efficiency
Prepare analyses to support recurring technical accounting analyses, such as standalone selling price
Provide support for internal and enterprise-wide project initiatives, including participation in user acceptance testing
Maintain an understanding of the company products and programs (new and existing) relative to their impact on revenue transactions and the application of ASC 606
Prepare supporting schedules for financial statement disclosures
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills utilizing professional skepticism
Proficient in researching accounting literature and performing technical analysis
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively, with consistent adherence to deadlines
Ability to work independently, leveraging available tools and resources
Ability to plan out projects/tasks into clearly defined executable steps
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formulas, pivots)
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance required
CPA license and/or Master’s Degree (accounting or finance) preferred
Current or previous Big 4 or National Tier public accounting firm audit experience preferred
Detailed understanding of ASC 606 and working knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with SAP/RevPro preferred
Experience with Alteryx and similar analysis/automation tools preferred
Basic Qualifications:
Requires practical knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience..
Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience.

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role generally ranges from $58,798 -$73,497 but may vary depending on your qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of this range.
