What we're looking for:

You are a RVP Americas, Digital Sales with 15+ years of progressive SaaS sales experience within Americas. You have a minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in a large, multi-national software, technology, and consulting organization developing and executing business plans and programs. You are up for the challenge of becoming an expert on Citrix solutions. 

Position Overview:

The RVP Americas Digital Sales is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals. The RVP assumes responsibility for a large portion of the territory's overall revenue goals. The RVP is also responsible for driving the professional development of other managers and staff on their team, including mentorship, training, and performance evaluation. The RVP must understand the overall business of the clients in their territory and how to assist the sales team in positioning Citrix products, messaging and services. Directs their team in multiple routes to market including channel and direct sales. Acts as an enabler to remove both internal (Citrix) and external (customer, partner) roadblocks and help their staff resolve challenges in support of sales opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage and communicate competitive losses and win across the sales teams. Review sales manager personnel issues and personal and professional developmental opportunities.
  • Provide guidance for sales managers in matters of problem resolution, sales strategies, competitive analysis and pricing, bids, RFPs, RFQs and corporate policy interpretation.
  • Promote a positive work climate that attracts, retains, and develops high quality employees throughout the company.
  • Communicate and collaborate with remote Field and Regional Sales teams to maintain consistency with headquarters’ direction and strategy, and to inform the field of company activities and initiatives. Develop and implement field sales programs such as quarterly business reviews and semi-annual sales training.
  • Define account and opportunity planning processes and develop new initiatives to enhance revenue and market potential, lead sales management in developing execution strategy.
  • Nurture Citrix’s inclusive and competitive sales culture where individuals collaborate to share ideas and proactively find solutions to problems to drive the overall success of the Americas region.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Highly preferred
  • Extensive sales experience with the US SMB business sector
  • 15+ years of sales management experience preferably in the Information Technology industry
  • Executive sales management experience in the software industry throughout the Americas

  • Combination of personal characteristics including collaboration, high integrity and ethics, honesty, high energy, perseverance, and resilience.
  • Compelling leadership style with strong executive presence that includes exceptional people management skills, program management and intuition for business and a style that encourages confidence in Citrix and its offerings.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas discerningly, articulately, and openly to effectively influence and gain consensus from colleagues and partners at all levels.
  • Experience managing teams that sell complex technical business solutions in the enterprise space and have a strong understanding of business drivers for Line of Business solutions within enterprise organizations. 
  • High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management and team building skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Experience and background in 2 tier channel/distribution sales model
