What we're looking for:

The Sales Onboarding Analyst manages the activities involved in the design, preparation, delivery and needs assessment of training and development programs for new Citrix managers and employees in the sales and services organization.

Position Summary

Joins in partnership with others to assess and implement organizational development programs, processes, and training initiatives to support organizational strategies. Performs the support tasks required to successfully manage and run the new hire training and development program. Develops and/or approves content, methods, and materials for training staff and may facilitate courses. Develops and executes methods for evaluation of program effectiveness. 

Typical responsibilities may include development and delivery of programs, such as new employee orientation, sales skills and/or organizational development training. Guides new hires to available resources and training required to conduct their jobs effectively. Uses needs assessment tools to determine effectiveness of proposed training programs. Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented. Instructs participants in classroom lectures and/or group sessions. Establishes and executes tracking of sales force training participation and performance metrics to maintain and improve the company’s competitive advantage in the market.

Responsibilities

New Employee Sales Training Program Coordination and Logistics

  • Conducts preparation requirements for all corresponding workshops, individual sessions, and checkpoint/assessment activities
  • Manage class schedules in the training platform and Outlook, confirm attendee registrations, track attendance, manage surveys, and report on associated data
  • Secure various subject matter experts and facilitators for class delivery and lead all communications required to complete task
  • Set-up classrooms (virtual or in-person) for training and lead all logistics involved with this task
  • Regularly communicate with new hires and their managers for class scheduling, required class activities, and to make certain goals of program are achieved.
  • Be present for all live classroom sessions to provide in-class support to program leads and facilitators
  • May work with third-party vendors, as needed.

Onboarding / White Glove Program

  • Tasks include communications with new hires, management, and other teams (through a variety of mediums) to make sure management, and new employees, have the necessary support required for a consistent and strong onboarding experience. 
  • Run the peer champ/mentor program, reinforce usage of tools/templates, and ensure compliance with processes and procedures in assigned geo.
  • Communicate with onboarding team management and program leads regularly on accomplishments as well as issues/conflicts that need to be addressed

Training Development and Facilitation

  • Assist with the maintenance and improvements of the training platforms used to host training content, delivery, and schedules.  This includes identifying gaps in training processes, content, and delivery.  
  • Contribute to the facilitation of relevant instructor led training classes, checkpoint processes, development plans, and training schedules to support the success of the new employee sales training program.
  • Become certified to deliver the sales methodology and skills workshops, as needed/required
  • Design course outlines, gather supporting documentation and develop course materials and trainer notes.
  • Assesses customer needs for future course development and interfaces with sales enablement teams to develop specifications for course content.
  • In addition, this person may provide support to other enablement initiatives and activities as needed.

  • Sets objectives for own job area to meet the objectives or goals of projects and assignments.
  • Responsible for adjusting and/or recommending enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
  • Able to analyze and address problems and issues that may require understanding of a broader set of issues
  • Good understanding of how the sales force functions and able to adjust communications accordingly
  • Communicates well with contacts within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation to reach agreement.
  • Knows how to influence parties within own job function at an operational level to complete required job tasks and objectives
  • Able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and complete assignments within given time constraints with high quality level.
  • Has, or can easily develop, an understanding of Citrix’s strategies, product messaging, positioning, competition, overall objectives and the organization’s business and direction.
  • Demonstrates strong communication (verbal and written), organization, planning, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to present and deliver critical messages to audiences of all sizes, in a multi-cultural environment, as part of a global team, across multiple time zones

Functional Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • University Degree or equivalent experience with 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, specifically Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with various learning management systems a plus
  • Fluent is additional languages a plus

Physical Demands / Work Environment

  • Must be local to Singapore office
  • Job may be performed in Citrix training rooms or in other office environments.
  • May require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours.
