What we're looking for:

You are a Networking Sales Engineer (SE), responsible for the technical relationships with customers, partners and prospects.

Position Summary

You will identify and match technology opportunities with our customers’ business needs. In this technical pre-sales role, you will showcase and drive sales of Citrix Networking product solutions (Citrix Application Delivery Controllers, Citrix Gateway, Citrix Web Application Firewall, SD-WAN, and Citrix Application Delivery Management and Intelligent Traffic Management System). You will be comfortable with talking to Senior IT stakeholders and not be afraid to get hands on with the tools when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely and collaboratively to support the Korea Sales Team and make a significant contribution to achieving both short and long-term goals for the territory
  • Creating and delivering technical product demonstrations, presentations, proofs of concept, network designs and support
  • Delivering product training and skills transfer to channel partners, integrators and users
  • Participating in consultations and/or product capability assessments with prospects
  • Creating and maintaining formal relationships with key decision makers
  • Serve as an external spokesperson for Citrix
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of intelligent application switching issues and trends as they relate to Citrix ADC solutions.
  • Leveraging and maximising partner engagement while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT initiatives
  • Working on issues that impact design/selling success or address proof of concepts, products or technologies

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 - 8 years plus  years prior sales engineering experience in a high tech environment in an indirect sales and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
  • Citrix Certified Professional or Citrix Certified Expert certification is preferred
  • Pre-sales consulting experience is required in any of these technology areas:
    • Core Networking
    • SD-WAN
    • Application Delivery Controllers
    • Security (Web, Email, Content, Firewalls)
    • Data Center (Software Defined Networking, Virtual Switching)
    • Transition to cloud
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and/or Design Professional (CCDP) certification or similar networking vendor certification
