You are a Sales Readiness Manager who will function as a part of the Sales & Services Readiness team dedicated to the acquisition, development, deployment and adoption of skills & knowledge to help sellers and Sales Managers succeed in customer engagements.
This individual will be responsible for working with Citrix cross-functional teams (WW Readiness, field stakeholders, SMEs, Product Management, Product Marketing) and industry organizations to provide input and develop programs to enhance sales and Sales Management capabilities. A key focal point will be the delivery and reinforcement of key sales effectiveness skills, driving the adoption of best practices and execution behavior changer. The Sales Readiness Consultant may also be called upon to assist in the development of best practices for sales plays and sales conversations with each product launch, support Geo Readiness events, and serve as overall Citrix Enablement Ambassador. This position will require strong learning aptitude, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, project planning, effective understanding of methodology and its application, and ability to communicate the Citrix Conversation to any level within partner and client organizations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Coordinate logistics for Geo Sales events including skills and product training sessions, briefings, and management meetings.
Facilitate instructor led Sales Effectiveness Skills Workshops by supporting table exercise and reinforcement activities.
Provide coaching support to field sales and Sales Managers
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and refine training materials and their presentation.
Assist in knowledge transfer sessions and monitor feedback for quality assurance.
Serve as Readiness liaison in meetings with WW Sales Effectiveness Program Managers, representing the needs of the field teams while programs are being developed.
Develop a solid understanding of Citrix product messaging and share this information as appropriate with Geo Readiness team members.
Interact with and support key decision makers in various areas of the organization including Managers and Area Directors as well as partners and customers.
Execute early adopter projects (concurrently with other Readiness activities)
Provide status updates and performance reporting on Readiness programs to stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
Strong organization skills
Coaching and facilitation experience
Proven track record in understanding stakeholder needs and delivering measurable value
Deep understanding of business value, sales skills, processes & methodologies
Understand how training development and enablement is measured
Experience with Citrix or similar technologies is highly desirable.
Strong ability to learn all Citrix products – messaging, positioning, and competitors
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to complete assignments given aggressive time constraints with high quality level. Leverages internal and external resources to achieve desired results as appropriate.
Project management experience preferred
Works well across a matrix organization
Demonstrates a customer centric mindset
> 5 years of experience as Field Readiness Coordinator, Sales, Engineer, Technical Support Escalation/Readiness, or Consulting
5 years’ experience in technology sales and or Sales Management (Software / SaaS a benefit)
Fluent in both written and spoken (Mandarin) Chinese to serve the Greater China Region
Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, business and/or technology-related field(s)
