What we're looking for:

Are you an accomplished developer with some practical experience with security, looking to make a move into a dedicated Security Engineering role?

Do you want to expand your security expertise and stay hands-on, building on your background working with cloud and on-premises technologies as well as help us rapidly automate data integration, and build custom tools?

Position Overview:

As a Security Engineer we'll teach you to develop systems to analyse security data sources and integrate information from these sources into our security data fusion platform. You'll also be working on integrating these systems into our automated business workflows and reporting systems, both in the cloud and on-prem.

Role Responsibilities:

• Developing and integrating existing security technologies for analysis of very large data sets (structured and unstructured)

• Developing custom security tools

• Automating security workflows

Basic  Qualifications:

• Some professional or academic experience within a software development role

• Understanding of software security mechanisms

• Programming skills in one or more programming or scripting languages

• Strong written and verbal presentation skills in English

• Graduate degree from four-year college or university course (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Security, Security Engineering, or related field), or equivalent security industry work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Development experience with different platforms including Linux and Windows, and also use of container technologies.
