What we're looking for:

You are a focused, motivated, and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant who has 3-5 years of preferred experience.

Senior Accountant- General Ledger

You will be reporting to the Accounting Manager on the General Ledger Accounting Team. Additionally,  you will be responsible for global general ledger accounting and global balance sheet reconciliations. You will be expected to prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly variance analysis in accordance with the Accounting close schedule. You will also provide timely submission of information and analysis to manager for both internal and external audit requests.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Prepare timely & accurate month-end reconciliations & variance analysis in accordance with the Accounting close schedule.

  • Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly - general ledger accounting. 

  • Ability to work independently with prioritization of work, completion of tasks and thinking through solutions

  • Assist with training of other team members

  • Assist with monitoring Citrix’s policies and procedures are being followed in assigned accounting areas.

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual Sarbanes Oxley key control compliance.

  • Assist with the accounting integration of acquisitions for assigned areas.

  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Understanding of GAAP accounting rules

  • Strong PC, Excel and System skills and experience

  • Ability to handle high volume of transactions

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with peers and management

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively

  • Accountability and assumed responsibility for one's own work

Requirements:  (Education, Certification, Training and Experience)

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting required

  • CPA exam-eligibility preferred

  • 3-5 years experience in Accounting preferred

  • SAP general ledger experience preferred

  • Public Accounting experience preferred
