What we're looking for:

You are a cloud operations engineer that has worked within an Agile environment. You have experience working with automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible or Chef. If you have 5+ years of experience managing Cloud Platforms within AWS, Azure, or GCP – we’d love to speak with you!

Position Overview:

The position, which is within the IT Enterprise Infra Cloud Services, will focus on the management of the infrastructure for the major cloud providers consumed and leveraged by Citrix, which will present you with a unique opportunity to expand problem-solving situations that will become an invaluable individual career asset. Our team culture is a unique blend that combines the structured vision and process maturity of a well-established software company with the dynamism and vibrancy of a small startup. This position can sit remote in additional US locations not listed.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 24x7 production environment with an elevated level of service availability. Perform quality reviews, manage operational issues and availability for on-call 24x7 rotation

  • Implement automation and orchestration for manual processes required to operate and deploy cloud services, be at the heart of developing innovative ideas into internal OPS tools by working closely with advanced technology  

  • Maintain and support tooling that enables Enterprise-wide visibility of CI/CD pipelines

  • Partner with development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture

  • Help maintain standardization of enterprise tools across the organization

  • Implementation of proactive monitoring, alerting, trend analysis and self-healing systems 

  • Partner with the Security organization in aligning with security best practices 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior experience managing Cloud Operations/Platforms within AWS, Azure, GCP; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience

  • Experience working within an Agile environment

  • Experience working with automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible or Chef

  • Experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences; demonstrated success working across organizational boundaries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing DevSecOps methodology and culture

  • Experience with scripting in Python or Bash
