Position Overview

The Professional Services Consultant leads internal and customer-facing projects of medium to large-size or complexity. The Principal Consultant has developed the foundational skills of consulting and is highly proficient in at least one major Citrix product and the adjacent technologies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Leads all aspects and the development of project deliverables of internal projects (education content, whitepapers, testing and performance tests) to a large extent and can lead most customer engagements.

  • Utilize their skills in the consulting methodology, server-based computing concepts, documentation standards and organization, time management, Citrix products and technologies, software installation, and networking skills on internal Consulting Solutions assignments or client engagements.

  • Individually solve problems of higher complexity and assist and guide more junior resources through their problem resolutions.

  • A team player that seeks to supplement their skills through the use of project experience, self-study manuals, and point of need training.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Demonstrated mastery applying a structured approach to writing business and technical documentation for conceptual and task-based content.

  • Experience with Citrix technologies as demonstrated through basic Citrix technology certification. Citrix Certified Expert – Networking (CCE-V) and Citrix Certified Instructor (CCI) certification preferred.

  • Experience with Networking technologies as demonstrated through basic Cisco certification or hands-on experience.

  • Experience with Programming, versioning and scripting experience in PowerShell preferred.

  • Working to specific style guidelines such as APA, MLA, or Microsoft Manual of Style for technical writing preferred.
