As Sr. Director, Marketing Intelligence you will partner with the Marketing Operations and the Marketing Leadership team to define a holistic approach for leveraging data, insights, and analytics to dramatically improve all aspects of our marketing outcomes, from brand to demand and across earned and owned efforts. You will ensure Marketing can access and act on standardized dashboards, data-based analysis and analytical models that dramatically enhance decision making and targeting across marketing.
About The Role:
You will lead the teams responsible for providing reporting, dashboards, insights, recommendations, and action plans to marketing teams and executives.
Gather input from marketing leaders on reporting needs and gain buy-in for measurement models across all marketing functions which will incorporate a holistic view into the performance of our entire contact database (suspect, prospect, customer)
Develop projections for quarterly marketing plans based on historical performance and industry benchmarks
Collaborate closely with IT to continuously deliver, monitor, and evolve BI infrastructure and data pipelines allowing for both traditional data warehouse reporting tools and unified data lakes for Advanced Analytics.
Research industry benchmarks, best practices and historic trends to provide insights into the effectiveness of the marketing mix including audiences, channels and content, and make recommendations for optimizing mix
Partner closely with Marketers across the organization to ensure strategy and campaigns align to measurement framework. Act in a consultative role during annual planning.
Work closely with Marketing Operations leadership to ensure systems and process allow for standardized downstream reporting aligned to Intelligence strategy.
Analyze and package quantitative and qualitative information for distribution to understand our marketing mix effectiveness and ROI - provide insights and recommendations at the audience, campaign, channel and program level
Partner with marketing leaders to provide COO and CMO consistent and full transparency around our marketing programs - forecast, analyze and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline, revenue and sales cycle length.
Advancement of our capabilities
This role will represent marketing needs and requirements to cross functional partners to ensure we are continuously advancing our capabilities around traditional business intelligence, predictive modeling, lead scoring, advanced analytics and insights focused on improving Marketing effectiveness.
This leader will ensure teams are aligned with cross functional analytics teams to ensure standardized reporting, metrics definitions, and governance is consistent across the organization
Ownership of marketing metrics, methodologies, and governance. Continous evolution to align with business strategy and industry standards.
Ensure marketing teams have segmentation and analysis of prospect and customer groups available to identify ‘propensity to buy’ segments mapped to our marketing goals
Strong understanding of statistical modeling and data science capabilities to develop and own advanced analytics roadmap. Types of modeling to include Account & Lead Scoring, Customer Journey Analytics, Segmentation and Account Targeting, Next Best Offer Modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
Deep understanding and proficiency with SQL, Python a plus
Proficiency with Marketo & SFDC
Google Analytics and Bizible experience preferred
Understanding and proficiency in forecast modeling and statistical methodologies
Experience with Multi-Touch Attribution and familiar with Marketing Analytics Metrics
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.
Snowflake, Tableau, Databricks, Power BI experience
