What we're looking for:

You as a Sr. Director will contribute to the product roadmap and will be instrumental in driving the diversification of our product portfolio to help us go after strategic segments of the Networking market. You will be responsible for growing, leading, and motivating the engineering team to deliver against agreed upon aggressive product deliverables and timelines.

Position Overview:

Immediate need for a Sr. Director of Engineering who will be responsible for leading product development for Citrix Networking and will define and drive product development process and execution. The Sr. Director will Interact with engineering and product leaders, sales teams, and customers, to explain Citrix Networking’s engineering architecture, concepts and design choices.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide technology leadership and guidance to the engineering team and play a key role in attracting and hiring exceptional engineering talent through the next phase of Citrix Networking’s growth.
  • The person will focus on coaching, developing and mentoring employees in order to build high performance teams.
  • Work with customers to design and develop product features, functionality, and enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 15 + years of relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of people management experience with 25+ engineers.
  • 8+ years software development experience with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects.
  • Strong technology foundation in Networking and Cloud (Data Networks, Computing, Servers, Cloud Computing, Software-as-a-Service, Network Services, Layer 4-7, Application Delivery, Routing, WAN Optimization) and Security technologies (SSLVP, WAF, Secure Web Gateway, CASB, etc.)
  • Experience with networking technologies (Load Balancing, SSL, ADC, routing, etc.)
  • Experience leading and providing technical direction for a multi-site, multi-geo engineering team and has led aggressive and high-quality hiring.
  • Proven  track record and industry reputation of successfully delivering networking products and extensive experience in quality engineering process, utilizing latest engineering development techniques.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and large customers and experience managing technology suppliers/vendors/partners
