What we're looking for:

YOU as a Senior Frontend Engineer will develop, test, maintain and debug software components that extend and enhance our Security Analytics features. YOU will work with a group of brilliant software engineers and data scientists on problems that are structured to develop knowledge and experience, while following Agile practices and procedures.

Position Overview:

As part of the Citrix Analytics Service/Security organization, our Engineering and Data Science teams develop solutions to cyber security challenges by aggregating data across users, devices, networks, applications, and files and generate actionable insights. We employ statistical and Machine Learning techniques to provide visibility into user and application behavior and identify indicators of risk. Our solutions are cloud based, and across Citrix portfolio as well as third-party products. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated frontend software engineer who is interested in analytics, security, and taking on challenges associated with user experience, performance, scale, and visibility in a distributed environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to implement an exceptional User Experience.
  • Developing/coding/testing/maintaining of large-scale UI systems.
  • Developing conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mock-ups or prototypes to effectively communicate experience design strategies.
  • Validating and qualifying complex customer issues which may require collaboration with more senior level team members or other vendors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent in a technical field preferred, with at least 4 years of directly related work experience.  Equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in Frontend UI development
  • Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies like ReactJS, AngularJS or similar frameworks & libraries, HTTP, CSS, REST, AJAX and JSON, asynchronous programming, closures, and types
  • Familiarity with Jest/Enzyme, JSUnit testing frameworks
  • Charting libraries like D3 or Highcharts, Python , NodeJS
  • Experience with JavaScript / ES6, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Experience with integrating UI with RESTful APIs and graph queries
  • Strong coding, Automation and debugging skills

Preferred Skills/Experience:

•              Experience with Redux, GraphQL, and ReactJS

•              Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, and Databases
