You will help define the next generation experience for Citrix Workspace app on desktop platforms and modernize tech stack. Our team, Citrix Workspace app, is the preferred way to access all Citrix Workspace services. Citrix Workspace app is used by millions of users to do their day-to-day work. We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Bangalore.
Craft a meaningful vision for the team, working with cross functional stakeholders
Manage prioritization, trade-offs and set appropriate expectations for delivery
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic and technical goals
Oversee daily activities of team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
Manage a unified engineering team which own end to end quality and feature development.
Develop, coach, mentor individuals and teams and ensure high performance in a fast-paced environment.
Drive engineering and operational excellence, establish KPI and processes for continuous measurement and improvement.
Work with stakeholders from different teams and customers as well to drive a delightful customer experience and ensure high quality for our products.
Provide technical directions and involved in architectural decision making.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing product development teams.
8+ years of experience in architecting and developing complex software products.
Proven experience setting measurable goals and metrics to drive success for teams
Demonstrated ability to hire, nurture developers and coach high performing teams.
Experience in addressing low performance
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders to remove roadblock.
Excellent business acumen, ability to understand business strategy and vision and translate to the team.
Passion for customer experience and a sense of urgency for solving business needs.
Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals e.g OS, networking, system design etc.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming development and hands on experience in building complex desktop applications in C++/C# is a plus.
