What we're looking for:
 

As Senior Organizational Development Specialist, you will work with Citrix leaders, business units, HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Expertise in the areas of change management and organizational development. To be successful in this role you will be entrepreneurial minded, as we are rapidly scaling and evolving our Organizational Development function at Citrix. You will have the opportunity to work on progressive, game-changing initiatives, pioneer new programs and processes, and build leadership capabilities for our future. You are a person who thrives in a roll-up your sleeves and build from the ground up position.

Position Overview/Summary


In this role, you will lead and consult on the design, implementation and adoption of business strategies and initiatives. You will manage multiple, full cycle projects/programs that drive transformational change. In this role you will focus on the people side of change, including corporate transformation and changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. You’ll also have the ability to work across various functional areas within the Organizational Development team, including company culture initiatives, strategy and goal planning, organization assessment & design, change management, mergers & acquisitions and employee engagement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with client organizations to assist them in achieving measurable improvements in their organizational performance and build effective relationships with assigned clients at executive leader level and below.

  • Lead and/or facilitate midsize to large, global team and organization development interventions to support business objectives and strategy implementation.

  • Leverage business expertise and data-driven insights to design and deliver change solutions that enable the success of the organization’s business objectives.

  • Provide change program leadership including managing the change strategy, leadership alignment, stakeholder and employee engagement and communications.

  • With minimal supervision, develop plans and implement various activities related to readiness needs including change impact analysis, readiness assessments, project communication planning and execution, stakeholder management, change sponsor coaching, employee enablement and training.

  • Implement change management plans that minimize resistance and maximize employee adoption and engagement through effectively planned and delivered communication, training, and change enablement activities.

  • Drive alignment with cross-functional readiness and enablement resources to formulate comprehensive plans and activities to support change initiatives and ensure successful implementations.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand the change initiative, identify integration points and impacted audiences, assess the impact of the change.

  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities and produce and align consolidated project plans.

  • Monitor readiness risk and provide mitigation strategies. Identify and manage anticipated resistance.

  • Design, develop, deliver and manage communications.

  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to assess the change impact, conduct impact analyses, and assess change readiness.

  • Create accurate, comprehensive, user-friendly technical training materials.

  • Consult and coach project teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or fewer with a Master's degree

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience or credentials

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong candidates will have external consultant experience and/or internal Organizational Development experience at a global company and/or within the tech industry.

  • Organizational design and change management theories, principals, frameworks, models, tools and practices (e.g. Prosci).

  • Knowledge of Organizational behavior/development/design theories, principals, frameworks, models, tools and techniques.

  • Merger and acquisition integration frameworks and practices (e.g. cultural integration, change readiness, communication and onboarding strategies, etc.).

  • Application of design thinking methodology and principles to organization development projects and initiatives.

  • Abe to bring structure to the undefined, including developing practical solutions and repeatable methodologies for use by the Organizational Development team.

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications and other productivity tools (Smartsheet a plus).
