We’re currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our product management team.
Our team is looking for inspiring and driven individuals to join the team in building the platform, products and services needed to deliver on the Citrix vision for the modern-day workspace.
Ideal candidates have a strong technical background and some prior experience or interest in product management. Our Product Managers demonstrate a desire to continue personal learning and career development while building collaborations with cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment. As a product manager you'll bridge technical and business worlds, ensuring a focus and priority on existing customers and solutions while evaluating and placing product investment aligned to long term strategy and success. Product managers have a wide scope and responsibility ranging from portfolio planning and goal setting down to detailed project management, dependency tracking and daily engagement in team functions and project execution.
Drive product, feature and component level requirements definition for the Workspace platform, including planning and design of new features and improvements.
Drive the SLA for uptime and performance, cloud adoption and enable new business capabilities as an end user facing cloud platform.
Drive the core cloud platform innovations keeping upto date with the technology trends with cloud by partnering with the IaaS vendors like Microsoft, AWS and Google.
Own the product process involved from conception to release for all major and minor launches, with emphasis on interactions with service delivery and internal product teams to develop the platform.
Guide the prioritization and planning with teams through understanding overall product strategy as it applies to multiple product lines.
Operate as an effective product manager responsible for one or multiple areas of the product, including leading and communicating progress against project goals and fielding customer or internal partner concerns.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal partners throughout the company to determine goals and drive visibility and alignment on progress towards objectives.
Work directly with engineering leadership on an ongoing basis and serve as a key partner/approver in the review and approval process inherent to software development.
Propose, initiate and prioritize projects within the product group to progress business goals. Assist in figuring out the best solution, provide data driven validation, and measure success of team objectives, including authoring outcome-based goals and critical metrics.
Collaborate with release leads, support, sales and partners to communicate and evangelize delivered objectives and available features and fixes.
Drive and own the platform product requirements process across multiple scrum teams while working collaboratively with key partners to prioritize and validate technology, features, product direction and strategy; drive critical initiatives, using customer feedback and data to inform tactical and strategic decisions; drive cross-team analysis and sharing of data.
Drive and influence adoption of product management standard methodologies throughout the product management and engineering teams.
Knowledge and Skills:
Deep experience in product management or equivalent, building cloud platforms and/or enterprise software preferred.
Familiarity with a variety of development, engineering, and sales processes (Agile, Pragmatic Marketing Framework, SAFe).
A talent for managing highly technical products; direct experience with SaaS would be a bonus.
Experience in successfully building commercial cloud and distributed systems-based applications.
Track record of success in launching products.
Experience presenting to internal teams and leadership on a regular basis to promote the business plan and build awareness; ability to solicit and synthesize input from customers and internal partners.
Experience developing positive relationships and coordinating product management across product development, technical support, pre-sales, sales, service delivery and partner organizations.
Demonstrated understanding of the product requirements definition and agile software development processes in the creation of software products.
Ability to develop a well-conceived and carefully constructed requirements and application definition.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and gain the cooperation necessary across the organization to successfully deliver to schedules/timelines.
Strong organizational skills and ability to learn new processes and tools paired with excellent oral and written communication skills.
