Position Overview

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be joining the Citrix DaaS Platform team. This person will drive the product requirements process while working with key stakeholders to identify, prioritize and validate technology, features, product direction and strategy. Work closely with the Product Development and R&D teams to align with the product strategy and priorities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage implementation for a defined subset or portion of end-to-end product strategies, including the defined company Product
  • Manage process and lifecycles, and clearly communicate to stakeholders throughout the Product Group organization.
  • Will conduct market validation activities as directed, such as customer prospect interviews and market analysis, as part of planning new features or offers.
  • Manage short-term focused market and customer research regarding product acceptance, usage and success and integrate results directly into the product planning activities.
  • Validate product plans against research results and assist making informed recommendations regarding roadmap to senior management.
  • Drive the product requirements process while making recommendations regarding product requirements and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to validate priorities for technology, features, product direction and strategy.
  • Develop an understanding of the competitive market landscape and identify key areas of competitive differentiation in assigned areas.
  • Become the product expert within the organization for the assigned area.
  • Support the customer base including helping to resolve escalations and customer elevated issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software technology industry.
  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering / IT.
  • Solid experience with SaaS and IaaS (Cloud - Preferably Public Clouds)
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Windows/Linux desktop administration.
  • Experience with management of product life cycle in agile development.
  • Experience documenting research findings, market analysis and product requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working experience in presenting to wide ranging audiences, internal and external, via webinars, training sessions / seminars, and customer visits. Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Team player with ability to work with people across different regions and cultures.
  • Great execution skills and technical knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MS technologies including Azure, Office 365 and Windows a +.
  • You have an MBA as a post graduate qualification.
  • Experience or knowledge of App and Desktop Virtualization technologies.
