The mission of the Cloud Connectors team is to reduce the on-premises infrastructure needed to consume Citrix Cloud services.  As part of the Connectors team, you will be at the heart of the Citrix cloud transformation strategy, as we move from traditional on-premises solutions towards a cloud native model. 

You'll be part of a team with complete responsibility for Citrix’s Cloud Connector technology – composed of a suite of cloud services and on-premises appliances.  The technology spans Azure microservices, C#/.net, Linux, Docker, python & Golang.

Position overview:

  • You'll help ensure that Connector releases (cloud and on-premises) ship with high quality, predictability & efficiency.

  • Build and maintain agile test planning & execution while accounting for core coverage areas such as automation, functional, performance, stress, and scalability testing.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Architects and Engineers to grasp and influence product requirements for development of new features and cloud services.

  • Influence the engineering roadmap by proposing measures that will ensure testing is fit for purpose.

  • Identify and diagnose issues from the field alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams for quick turnaround on problem resolution.

  • Conduct Root Cause Analyses of issues which threaten or undermine the core value proposition of “zero touch, evergreen” cloud connector delivery, and to build a remediation plan to address in conjunction with engineering partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD deployment models.

  • Experience with machine virtualization technologies, cloud-computing platforms e.g. Azure, AWS.

  • Proven understanding of OS & Networking concepts.

  • Ideally, experience of Windows Systems administration and MS Active Directory

  • Knowledge and experience of Web technologies (JSON, REST).

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.)

  • Ability to work optimally in a globally distributed team, multi-task, and learn quickly.

  • Engineering rigour (quality, performance, maintainability etc) is important to you and you have seen the value in automated testing, CI/CD and testing methodologies such as BDD, wiremock.

..And it would be great if you had exposure to: 

  • The three pillars of observability using technologies such as New Relic, Splunk.
