What we're looking for:

You will analyze revenue transactions to evaluate data integrity and proper treatment of transactions within the revenue management system (RevPro). You collaborate with Accounting Systems and Supply Chain Management on issue analysis and resolution.You are a focused, motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who has at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant, Corporate Revenue Operations you will work as part of the Corporate Team and interact with particular functional teams such as WW Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Finance.  In this role your main focus is to support revenue forecasting and reporting, with ad hoc project work to support analysis, design, requirements gathering, org readiness, UAT, initial implementation and hyper-care activities for other projects as required.  You will specialize in reviewing, analyzing and evaluating forecast related information based on ASC 606 accounting standards. Supports the global Revenue Accounting team. You will also position will report to the Senior Manager – Revenue Forecasting & Reporting.

Primary duties/responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop automated workflows to increase efficiency
  • Analyze revenue transactions to evaluate data integrity and proper treatment of order transactions.
  • Collaborate with Accounting Systems and Supply Chain Management on issue analysis and resolution.
  • Prepare account reconciliations in conjunction with global month-end close activities, maintaining proper internal control documentation
  • Perform manual activities required in RevPro to align with accounting conclusions
  • Prepare analyses to support recurring technical accounting analyses, such as standalone selling price
  • Provide support for internal and enterprise-wide project initiatives, including participation in the areas of requirements, design, user acceptance testing, and organizational readiness
  • Maintain an understanding of the company products and programs (new and existing) relative to their impact on revenue transactions and the application of ASC 606
  • Support and maintain master templates within RevPro and related controls
  • Perform technical accounting research on revenue recognition-related topics and provide guidance
  • Maintain process documentation for areas of responsibility

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills utilizing professional skepticism
  • Proficient in researching accounting literature and performing technical analysis
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively, with consistent adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, leveraging available tools and resources
  • Ability to plan out projects/tasks into clearly defined executable steps
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. complex formulas, pivots)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • CPA license and/or Master’s Degree (accounting or finance) preferred
  • Current or previous Big 4 or National Tier public accounting firm audit experience preferred
  • Detailed understanding of ASC 606 and working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with SAP/RevPro preferred
  • Experience with Alteryx and similar analysis/automation tools preferred

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires advanced knowledge of job area obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years; or a PhD without experience
