What we're looking for:

Citrix is growing its team of security research professionals. We are an established team operating from locations around the world, and have a record of innovation in foundational security technologies. We are now focused on cloud and mobile security, and collaborate with engineering teams across the globe to implement our solutions.

You'll be instrumental in identifying emerging software threats for Citrix customers using open research and other resources and integrating these sources into our data fusion platform. You're probably the sort of person that thrives on demonstrating novel and previously unproven security techniques, for attack and defence and you enjoy working in a broad set of environments from the smallest to the large scale programmes.

Responsibilities include bringing to bear existing tools as well as developing novel approaches to automating both vulnerability analysis and protection. To be a success in this role, we'd like you to have a deep understanding of a range of security technologies, have truly impressive scripting/programming skills, and live to identify the next attack vector no matter how deep it is hidden. Strong English writing/speaking skills are required; the ideal individual will be comfortable presenting their findings to internal and external audiences.

If you enjoy problem-solving and finding out exactly how software works (often with limited information) and you can build custom tools using different scripting/programming technologies- then we'd love to talk to you!

Role Responsibilities:

• Integrating existing security technologies for analysis of very large data sets.

• Developing custom security tools.

• Automating security workflows.

• Analyzing new defensive security technologies.

• Recommending new technical approaches for managing and measuring security risk.

Basic  Qualifications:

• Proven professional or academic experience within a Security Research role

• Sound grasp of software security mechanisms.

• Strong programming skills in one or more programming or scripting languages.

• Strong written and presentation skills in English.

• Graduate degree from four-year college or university (preferably in Computer Security, Security Engineering, or related field), or equivalent security industry work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Publication of past research and/or speaking engagements.
