What we're looking for:
 

YOU as a Senior Software Engineer will develop, test, maintain and debug software components that extend and enhance our Security Analytics features. YOU will work with a group of brilliant software engineers and data scientists on problems that are structured to develop knowledge and experience, while following Agile practices and procedures.

Position Overview:

As part of the Citrix Analytics Service/Security organization, our Engineering and Data Science teams develop solutions to cyber security challenges by aggregating data across users, devices, networks, applications, and files and generate actionable insights. We employ statistical and Machine Learning techniques to provide visibility into user and application behavior and identify indicators of risk. Our solutions are cloud based, and across Citrix portfolio as well as third-party products. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated software engineer who is interested in analytics, security, and taking on challenges associated with performance, scale, usability, and visibility in a distributed environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implementing applications, debugging and integrating code, developing automated unit tests, performing code reviews, and assisting with technical specification documentation and review
  • Being involved in deploying the developed modules to our cloud environment(s) and addressing any performance and scale adjustments post deployment
  • Working with data scientists to understand the models and implementing them in Spark, addressing any platform and database needs
  • Working with the PMs to clarify requirements, with the SRE team to deploy the applications, and with other engineering teams for developing cross team features

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience n software product development and life-cycle maintenance.
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming, Python preferred
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases and developing APIs
  • Proficiency with CI/CD and build systems such as Jenkins
  • Strong knowledge with Cloud technologies/deployment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience with Spark, Kafka
  • Familiarity with data science and Machine Learning, security concepts and Kubernetes

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role generally ranges from $120,000 - $150,000, but may vary depending on your qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of this range. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, sales incentives, and/or stock depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Citrix and the country where you work.
