What we're looking for:

You are a seasoned software engineer with strong Windows and/ or Linux knowledge and practical expertise who designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs complex software applications and services, and demonstrates to others how to resolve issues in innovative and practical ways.

Position Overview

Citrix Hybrid Cloud Platforms team develops and maintains the essential components for the Citrix Cloud and Connectors platform, which supports the Workspace and Citrix DaaS solutions in the hybrid multi-cloud environments for customers.

In this role, you will be working within a top-notch team with diversity (e.g., customers, management, developers, QA, etc.) by following the Agile/Scrum process to propose and deliver the working scope, with integrity and high-quality deliverables, using the world-class leading-edge technologies.

Responsibilities 

  • Write, discuss, review, and feedback to requirements, conduct architecture, design, coding, review, testing, debug, bugfix, etc. activities to deliver high-quality software deliverables to meet the customer requirements and user cases.
  • Conduct reviews, address review comments, testing activities, triage, debug and bugfix, etc. to ensure the delivery on time with good quality.
  • Typical deliverables include requirements, architecture, design, code, dev tests, system tests, tools, and utilities, engineering documents, working reports, etc.
  • Attend and/or host related meetings, timely report working progress and issues, etc.
  • Willing to share, being able to guide and lead juniors to drive the delivery.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent mandatory, computer engineering/technical degree preferred.
  • You must have software development expertise with >= 5 years’ experience in C#/.Net, Golang/Python development, and debugging expertise within the container-based environment on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
  • Be able to work in English environment e.g., should be able to very comfortable communicate with English (speak, read, and write).
  • Good communication and teamwork.
  • Strong self-motivation, being able to work remotely with solid practical experience in Microsoft Windows and Office suites, remote working tools such as Slack, Teams, etc.

Preferred qualifications

  • Practical expertise in Makefile, Shell programming (e.g., Bash, RPM specs, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Strong software debug skills and practical expertise in handling customer issues
  • Experience, knowledge, architecting, developing, and debugging skills with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or other similar)
  • Experience and strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TPC/IP, TLS, Kerberos, etc.)
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, and/or Restful APIs
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Specialized knowledge in any of Linux user space, Windows drivers, Active Directory, LDAP, Containers, Cloud platform SDK/API, Security, etc.
