Position Overview:

The Citrix Engineering Operations Organization (EOO) aim is to support and improve the engineering experience within Citrix.  As a senior member of our EOO Tools team, your duty will be to create innovative and commercial-quality solutions to everyday problems.  We build and support greenfield custom web applications as well as addons to popular tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Miro. The team uses a modern tech stack including .Net 6 and Azure.  The team practices incremental development using Agile Scrum methodologies. We strive to continuously improve our processes and teams with an emphasis on technical and non-technical education as well as hands-on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Work independently on feature development collaborating with a team of 5 - 8 Software Engineers.

• Work with various engineering stakeholders to understand problems that cause friction or new processes that need tooling or automation.

• Translate high-level requirements into innovative and maintainable solutions.

• Continuously improve your skillset, learning and exploring new technologies and methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 6 + years of relevant and proven design and development experience in complex applications and systems software.

• Solid Computer Science foundations in Algorithms and Data structures.

• Full-Stack experience with Database, Server, and Web technologies.

• Web experience with data binding tools such as Angular or React.

• Expertise in OOP and languages such as Java, C#, .Net Core.

• Relational Database Experience such as Sql Server, PostGres, or MySql.

• Intrinsically motivated to provide high quality results.

• Strong team player that can work within a small team to deliver features.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies and hands-on development experience on AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and build systems such as Jenkins.

• Exposure to Agile Methodologies such as the Scrum methodology.

• Familiarity with Security concepts such as Threat Modeling, Encryption, Authentication.
