The Citrix Engineering Operations Organization (EOO) aim is to support and improve the engineering experience within Citrix. As a senior member of our EOO Tools team, your duty will be to create innovative and commercial-quality solutions to everyday problems. We build and support greenfield custom web applications as well as addons to popular tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Miro. The team uses a modern tech stack including .Net 6 and Azure. The team practices incremental development using Agile Scrum methodologies. We strive to continuously improve our processes and teams with an emphasis on technical and non-technical education as well as hands-on experience.
Responsibilities range from conceptualizing ideas, targeted research with rapid prototyping to determine feasibility, risk evaluation and then create well-thought-out software designs and implementation.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Design, DevOps and Product Security teams to understand requirements for software development in a Scaled Agile environment.
Work independently on feature development collaborating with a team of 5 - 8 Software Engineers.
Work with various engineering stakeholders to understand problems that cause friction or new processes that need tooling or automation.
Translate high-level requirements into innovative and maintainable solutions.
Delivering solutions that make a noticeable impact for the end customer.
Embrace and implement Agile development framework and methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM, Kanban, etc.).
Help lead and mentor Junior Software Engineers on the team.
Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 5 - 7 years of proven design and development experience in complex applications and systems software.
Solid Computer Science foundations in Algorithms and Data structures.
Full-Stack experience with Database, Server, and Web technologies.
Web experience with data binding tools such as Angular or React.
Expertise in OOP and languages such as Java, C#, .Net Core.
Relational Database Experience such as SQL Server, PostGres, or MySql.
Intrinsically motivated to provide high quality results.
Strong team player that can work within a small team to deliver features.
Familiarity with Cloud technologies and hands-on development experience on AWS, Azure or GCP.
Experience with CI/CD tools and build systems such as Jenkins.
Exposure to Agile Methodologies such as the Scrum methodology.
Familiarity with Security concepts such as Threat Modeling, Encryption, Authentication.

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role generally ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 but may vary depending on your qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of this range. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, sales incentives, and/or stock depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Citrix and the country where you work.
