What we're looking for:

You are a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience in one or more object-oriented programming language(s) (C#/Java/C/C++). You have gained hands-on programming skills and have extensive knowledge of programming constructs, data structures, algorithms, and scripting languages/frameworks. You have a passion for solving complex problems and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to deliver innovative solutions that enable our customers to transform their business.

Position Overview:

This position is for our Secure Private Access / Zero Trust Network Access / Endpoint Management product group. The engineer will architect, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software for the products, which is used by enterprises to secure, manage and control devices, content, apps, and data.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design & develop system software for multiple platforms like Windows, Linux, MacOS including mobile platforms like iOS and Android

  • Produce innovative technical solutions for the above platforms

  • Work with QA to ensure the product meets quality standards

  • Contribute to code reviews, implement unit tests, address static analysis issues

  • Develop automated test cases for new and existing features

  • Work with Technical Support to address customer reported issues

  • Design - Experience with object-oriented software design

  • Expected to exercise sound technical judgment and minimize risk.

  • Debugging - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Documentation - Must be able clearly and concisely define technical issues

Basic Job Qualifications:

  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of software engineer experience; or Master’s degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years of experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (e.g., algorithms, data structures); proficiency in a programming language(s) (e.g., C, C++, Objective C, Java, GoLang )

  • Understands scripting using languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, Unix shell

  • Understanding of Agile software development methodology

  • Knowledge of Internet technologies (e.g., HTML, XML, TCP/IP), operating systems, networking, database, and software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing technologies e.g. Microsoft Azure (Azure Service Fabric, Azure Service Bus), AWS, or Google cloud platform is preferred

  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment
