What we're looking for:

You will be an individual contributor owning the product deliverable for a product or module(s) within a product. You will work with a team of product engineers, test engineers, GUI engineers, product managers, and support and sales engineers to create the required documentation.

Position Overview

As part of the Citrix documentation team, you play an important role by contributing to the overall user experience and product adoption. We extensively use feedback mechanisms, SEO techniques, and visitor analytics and take concrete actions for a superior user experience.  As part of the project deliverable, we collaborate with developers to come up with product documentation, blogs and create end-to-end use cases to drive product adoption. To achieve this, we use industry-standard docs-as-code infrastructure (Markdown/GitHub/Bitbucket) to collaborate and deliver documentation at a rapid pace in an Agile environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, plan, develop, and write documentation sets, including complex technical material, with limited supervision.
  • Coordinate with the team members for any dependent documentation deliverables.
  • Work simultaneously on multiple key projects, if required.
  • Be the first customer. Try out features on your own before documenting them for the customer.
  • Coach/mentor junior team members (medium/long term).

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Engineering.
  • At least 8+ years as a technical writer in product development organizations.
