What we are looking for:

As a Software Compliance Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert for our team’s compliance and security needs. If you don't know the answer to a question you have the drive to go find out! This role offers ample growth opportunities to expand your skillset and knowledge base. 

Here's what we need you to do so we can take first place:

  • Partner with engineers and stakeholders: In this role you will partner with teams across the Work Collaboration Solutions business unit and the broader Citrix org. You will be in charge of helping implement and track compliance and security efforts for all products in our unit’s portfolio.
  • Secure our products: With the growing rise in cyber threats globally you will play a key role in establishing secure and compliant systems to protect our customers data. With out of the box tools or custom-tailored solutions we will make sure that we are protected against all threats.
  • Automate everything possible: You will strive to never do a manual task twice and search for innovative ways to deliver business value more efficiently. Automation will be key here to remove human error and speed delivery timelines.
  • Become the Expert: You will act as a subject matter expert for our team’s compliance and security needs. If you don't know the answer to a question you have the drive to go find out! This role offers ample growth opportunities to expand your skillset and knowledge base.
  • Prior Achievements include:
  • Familiarity with common control frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27000 series, HIPAA, PCI, and other regulations and standards.
  • Experience implementing or creating security controls for cloud-based systems
  • Experience with some of the following languages and tools: Python, C#, Ansible, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell
  • Experience working in AWS, Azure, or GCP based cloud environments
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience; or an advanced degree without experience

Your superhero talents include:

  • Current CISA, CCSP, CISSP, or AWS certifications.
  • Ability to act as a subject matter resource on compliance and security for engineering teams
  • First-hand experience building and implement compliance control frameworks.
  • Experience implementing system hardening standards, vulnerability scanning, automated evidence collection, and auto-generated documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate toil heavy tasks to increase efficiency.
