What we're looking for:

YOU as a Software Engineering Manager will ensure goals and objectives are clearly defined and security analytics products are successfully developed and delivered to our customers. As an integral member of our engineering leadership team, you will work on some of our most exciting and challenging problems, all the while delighting customers with security analytics and predictive insights. Your engineering team will consist of a group of brilliant software engineers and data scientists working on problems structured to develop knowledge and experience, while following Agile practices and procedures.

Position Overview:

As part of the Citrix Analytics Service/Security organization, our Engineering and Data Science teams develop solutions to cyber security challenges by aggregating data across users, devices, networks, applications, and files and generate actionable insights. We employ statistical and Machine Learning techniques to provide visibility into user and application behavior and identify indicators of risk. Our solutions are cloud based, and across Citrix portfolio as well as third-party products. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated software engineer who is interested in analytics, security, and taking on challenges associated with performance, scale, usability, and visibility in a distributed environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the software development life cycle of Security Analytics solutions
  • Developing and growing engineers on the team and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team
  • Providing technical guidance at the architecture, design, and product level
  • Influencing the product strategy alongside the leadership and product management teams
  • Managing the team’s delivery commitments within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Partnering with product and program management teams to drive plans and delivery commitments
  • Recruiting and retaining the best talent


Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience architecting and designing complex software systems
  • 3+ years of people management experience, managing full-stack teams
  • Experience managing complex software projects and highly talented engineering teams
  • Strong expertise developing enterprise production software
  • Proficiency with Agile practices
  • Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and operation
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Splunk, Data Bases, and CI/CD practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 


Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with Cyber Security and Front End technologies
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Azure technology stack and micro-services
